March prayer letter 2026

Prayer Letter for March 2026

"His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love."

                                                   ~ Psalm 147:10-11

Dear Pastors and Prayer Partners: Peace be with you in the Lord!

With the arrival of the Lunar New Year, we welcome the popular "Year of the Horse". The horse often brings to mind strength and speed, and people frequently exchange blessings like "Success comes instantly" or "Taking the lead" (metaphor involving a horse running ahead). From a biblical perspective, we see that the "horse" symbolizes the reliance of human strength and military forces, yet the bible also reminds us -- are we relying on our own resources, abilities, and status? Or do we simply look to God by faith?

In the rising of the AI era, the world pursues speed, efficiency, and precision even more. Yet, we know clearly that "Efficiency does not equal to effectiveness." God does not care about how powerful our ministry is or how fast it develops; He cares about whether we truly rely on Him.

Lord, if we begin to feel anxious about ministry and human resources, or try to rely on strength other than Yours, please reminds us—You take no pleasure in the strength of the horse! If we rush ahead, swept up by the rapid pace of change, please remind us—You do not delight in the speed of human legs! Thank You for teaching us to fear You in our busyness and to rely fully on Your unfailing love in our lack. May we walk and work with You at all times, pleasing You as Your faithful and good servants. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We sincerely invite you to keep the 2026 ministries of the Voice of Salvation in your prayers and to pray for the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of our team.

Insights from Bible Correspondence Course Students

Student Liang: As someone with dyslexia, I had never read the Bible seriously. I only knew Jesus through church services and fellowship groups. This course helped me understand the significance of reading the Word and Jesus’ true will. I’ve realized the truth of His resurrection and the true meaning behind every word He spoke. Thank you, teacher, for guiding me; it has given me a more accurate direction and purpose of my life.

Student Gao: In 2025, I became more eager to share the Gospel with family and friends. My faith has grown since joining this correspondence course. Though there have been minor health and family issues starting this year, yet God’s grace is abundant amidst the busyness... May God grant you abundance in 2026.

Student Deng: Recently, I was moved by Luke 6:27-36, "Love Your Enemies."… I feel God is working in me. He showed me the importance of repentance and led me from darkness into light. I am no longer bound by sins but becoming a new creation. I am not afraid because Jesus is with me. Amen! I feel peace and joy; this does not change even though I am a prisoner in jail. Faith gives me the strength to face prison life and the patience to face each day. My soul is free through Christ…

Student Xiao: In the primary course, I recognized God’s love and that grace is given freely. I’ve decided to read the Bible every day. On this path of following Christ, I want to "run the race" and move toward the goals. I hope to be a witness for Jesus, so I plan to continue with the intermediate course to equip myself…
